Træk i trøjen sammen med mig for børnene

Fodbold har givet mig så ufatteligt meget udover tre point, blå mærker og brandsår, medaljer og trofæer. Det har lagt fundamentet for hele måden, jeg ser verden på, og de menneskelige egenskaber som samarbejde og frivillighed, jeg forsøger at leve efter.
Fodbold har givet mig utallige opture og nedture, store øjeblikke og dem, man i sekundet helst vil være foruden. Indblik i andre kulturer, rejser til fjerne lande og venskaber for livet.
Fodbold forener og gør mig og dig til os. Få ting kan måle sig med glædesrusen over en scoring og den efterfølgende fejring med krammere og high-fives til dem, du kender, og dem, du lige har mødt.
På banen og tribunen er vi alle ens. Sammen kan vi gøre en forskel for børn og unge med kræft. Den 6. marts trækker jeg i trøjen og støtter børn i kampen mod kræft, og jeg håber, at du vil hjælpe mig.

Football has given me so much more than three points, bruises and turf burns, medals and trophies. It has laid the foundation for the way I see the world and for the human values; like teamwork and selflessness that I strive to live by.
Football has given me countless highs and lows, unforgettable moments and others I would rather have been without. It has given me insight into different cultures, journeys to distant countries, and friendships that last a lifetime.
Football brings people together, it turns you and me into us. Few things compare to the rush of joy when the ball hits the net, followed by celebrations filled with hugs and high-fives shared with friends, teammates, and even strangers you’ve only just met.
On the pitch and in the stands, we are all equal. Together, we can make a difference for children and young people battling cancer. On March 6th, I’ll be putting on the shirt to support children in their fight against cancer, and I hope you’ll stand with me.
Football Shirt Friday aims to raise awareness and support the vital work of the Danish Childhood Cancer Foundation, helping improve the lives of children and young people with cancer and their families.
